Who will be at the workshop? This collaborative meeting will attract scientists from major academic centers nationally and international attendees. We anticipate an attendance of approximately 100 participants.The theme of this workshop is "Basement Membranes." Attendees have activities and interest in cell and molecular biology, detection and production of recombinant proteins and carbohydrates (glycobiology), various analytical protein techniques, histology and various microscopy techniques, PCR, tissue engineering, biomaterials and genetics. In their research, the attendees make extensive use of microscopy, PCR, tissue culture, speciality chemicals, enzymes, DNA and RNA reagents, transgenics, protein separation and purification techniques, cell lines, antibodies, diagnostic kits, peptides and recombinant proteins. The attendees have a broad interest in disease translation, spanning cancer, inflammation, tissue repair, fibrosis, arthritis and cardiovascular, skin, musculoskeletal and renal disorders, to mention just a few.
What does sponsorship do for you? Your participation will further your interactions with this diverse customer base and promote visibility for your brand and product line. For those sponsors who would like to exhibit their product line, the exhibition space will be in an attractive, high traffic area, with an alternative option to have an exclusive display during the poster session/lunch. Your support will be used to defray speaker expenses, provide support for trainee scientists, or for specific program components depending on the level of support.
