 Why Stay at the Meeting Hotel?
Staying in the same space with the speakers, colleagues, and friends allows for spontaneous interactions and organic conversations. You never know who you'll meet in the lobby or at the coffee bar. It also makes for a really easy commute to the sessions and events! It is important to be aware that accommodations reserved outside of the official meeting hotel room block expose the ASMB to financial penalties. Your loyalty and support are greatly appreciated!

To help attendees reduce costs and build new connections, we are offering a way for participants to connect with one another about the possibility of sharing hotel rooms. While the meeting organizers will not arrange room shares or take any responsibility for roommate matches, we will provide a space in the meeting app for attendees to indicate interest and connect directly with others who may be looking to share accommodations.

Getting to Halifax
Airport Transportation
Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) is the closest international airport to the Halifax Convention Centre. It is located approximately 34 kilometers (21 miles) from downtown Halifax.
Preferred transportation options
Halifax Transit – Regional Express Route 320: This bus service runs hourly between the airport and downtown Halifax, including a stop near the Halifax Convention Centre. The journey takes about 54-minutes and costs $4.25 CAD one-way.
Taxis are available at the airport and provide a convenient, direct route to the Convention Centre. The trip takes approximately 28-minutes, with fares ranging from $45 to $60 CAD.
Several shuttle services operate between the airport and various locations in Halifax, offering another convenient option for travelers. The cost typically ranges from $55 to $80 CAD.
Car rental companies are located at the airport, providing flexible options for those who prefer to drive. Rental desks are situated on the lower level of the Airport Parking lot
